Client Pains: International Antiviral Society of America (IAS-USA) is a nonprofit physician education organization. They were tasked by two medical professional societies, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) to build a collaborative site for clinicians treating Hepatitis C. The official name of the site would be Recommendations for Testing, Managing, and Treating Hepatitis C. The deadline was tight - they needed the initial designs within a 2-week timeframe to allow the committee to review the designs and provide feedback. Then, they would need the initial, development version of the Website within another 2 weeks.
Our Value-Based Solution: We created three design concepts for the committee to review in time for their deadline. After selecting the one they liked the most, we refined the design and implemented it within the content management system, also meeting their second deadline..
Some of the functionality we created includes:
- A Full Report section with an interactive table of contents
- A responsive design that allows you to easily view the Full Report and other areas of the site on smartphones and tablets
- A news section on the home page that automatically shows the top 3 most recent items
- A panel section that presents panel members in the right section based on their role and alphabetically by last name
